Hey chaps,

What sort of PSU would i be looking at for 2x 6950 2gbs in crossfire,on the system in my sig?

Thought about picking up another used 6950,Problem is the second PCI-E slot on my motherboard is right at the very bottom of the board and the PSU is in the way..so id need to either get a new (bigger) case,or a new board. :(..aswell as a new PSU most likely. :(

What a stupid place for gigabyte to put the second slot....Would an crossfire bridge even reach?

No hotlinking

Never seen a bridge 'that' long before. Saying that, the 2nd slot is only x4 too (most boards have at least x8 on the 2nd PCI-E slot).

Yeah its ridiculous,Not quite sure why they shoved it down there,But im guessing if i did get another card it would be quite limited with x4?

Looks like i might just have to stick with a single card then....would have liked more horsepower, but 7 series are out of the question they are too bloody expensive!

I'm also using a x16 -x4 motherboard. According to my calculations of checking my scores against benchmarks from around the web i am at most losing a few fps hardly any difference at all. On the heavan benchmark thread i even have scores higher than some people with faster pci-e lanes.
