...oh sorry, i have installed the latest 10.12 drivers and this is error messages i get.

Try uninstalling drivers, running driver sweeper, then reinstalling.
Use the 10.12a drivers as they support the 69xx series cards.

....so does this mean that the 10.12 drivers simply don't work? I'm not to happy using a 'Hotfix' as my graphic driver.

The 11.1 should be out any day. I'm using 10.12a, it's not a problem, just a modified driver for these cards.
..it's just me. Paying £230 for a card then finding the driver don't work and you can only use a Hotfix was a bit disheartening.
Just done a Heaven Benchmark test and the card is 2.5 faster than my old HD5850 so i'm happy ....
The hotfix is just a further revision of the driver, that's all.
If it makes you feel any better, many on here have ran the 10.5 hotfix drivers for months due to later driver revisions being poor for crossfire setups.
