6950 normal temperature?

I got a His 6950 2GB IceQ Turbo graphics card, now being a newbie, I'm not sure what counts as normal temperature. I understand that there are other things to consider (such as good air flow) but I'd like to know generally, what temps I should be getting.

Currently, my gpu is at 40 degress on idle (with OverDrive) on. While I'm playing Assassin's Creed, it goes up to 59-60 degress, although I'm not 100% sure since I just alt+tab out an check (is there another way to check temperatures while gaming?).

Are the above temps normal? At what point should I start to worry?

Temperatures seem fine.

Look at a couple of reviews here and here.

If you download GPU-Z, and enable "Log to file", you'll have a full record of lots of readings for your card.

So long as I don't go over 80, I should be fine, right?

Even 80c is fine, you will know if it gets too hot, the card will throttle down.
