My 6950 is only 2-3 weeks old but I have noticed that it does some annoying things and im not sure whether its faulty or whether something else is causing it.
Firstly, it randomly goes onto a black screen for like 2 seconds or so and then carries on as normal. It's often when doing simple things such as browsing the internet or watching a video. It is not long enough for the monitor to show "no signal" or anything like that but it is still annoying that it does this.
Secondly, it sometimes has random corruptions that are hard to explain that happen randomly too. Again often whilst doing something like browsing the internet areas of the page or desktop etc may appear corrupted in boxes or lines but again this only happens for a second or two maximum before sorting itself out.
The card seems fine most of the time but these little niggles are annoying. Never really noticed any issues when playing games but I haven't had the chance to play much yet.
My previous card never did this so could my card be faulty or do these symptoms suggest something else? Worth RMAing?
