Hello All,

Just about to push the button on a 6950 and was wondering which one was the best value for money at the moment?

I want a 2GB version and realize they are all mostly the same.

The ones i have been considering due to the attractive price are:-

or

To me it seems sensible to go for the MSI one as its factory overclocked and has a good custom cooler on it meaning that overclocking further should be less of a problem.

On the other side i am aware that standard PCB boards can flash to 6970 bios and im presuming that the XFX is standard although it comes with stock cooler, would this card be more likely to flash then the MSI one?

Thank you for your help, wanting to get ordered to play some Witcher 2!

Also on a final thought, anyone know how well these fit into an Antec 300 case?

From what i can see the shaders don't make much difference anyway and the better cooler should in theory allow better overclocking.

My instinct was the Twin FrozR III but there are a few people in that thread saying that its not stable on the factory overclock etc :S.

Ive just RMA'd a Gigabyte 560TI OC as it wasn't stable at factory speeds dont want that hassle again!!

Seems like theres another option:-

Gone for:- MSI ATI Radeon HD 6950 OC Twin FrozR III Power Edition 2048MB

Looks like it went up 6 quid about 30 mins after i ordered :D

Ill report back on how i get on

I popped one of these cards into one of my PCs , it's been great , can run everything maxed out and has so far been 100% stable .

Got it installed and working!! So far very impressed fan is very quiet, build quality of the card/cooler is great and performance thus far very good.

One question - What should my memory clock say? as it says 1300Mhz??
