6950 temps seem high

Got a Twin Frozr 3 6950 in my haf-x. It seems to sit at around 50 idle (even at low fan speed) and goes up to mid-high 50's under load.

It seems pretty high and the temps aren't effected by turning on all the case fans, i tend to leave the side and gpu case fan (on the air duct thingy in the hafx) off unless gamin, but even when i don't i see almost no reduction in temperature (like nothing compared to differences in day to day ambient)

Temps look fine, if it hit 90c + then start to get concerned

Mine runs at 45ish in a HAF 922. I wouldn't be worried

mine are at 55 idel on the ref cooler and 70/80 under full load with 6970 bios.. yours look fine

does seem quite high, not high enough to cause any concern though.
my Twin Frozr 3 runs about 30-32 on idle and ~50 at load, thats at 6970 speeds in 650D

 

[Operation]

My reference card runs at a touch over 80 degrees at full load, but then it's squeezed into an Antec 300. Doesn't worry me at all and you don't need to think twice about your temps.
