6950 toxic question? :)

The switch unlocked 6970 shaders, do i have to install 6950 drivers or 6970?

Nope, same drivers for both cards.

Not when I done a 6950 to full 6970 bios flash, I always had to install the driver again.

When it's just an unlocked 6950 shader bios, you didn't need too.

Alas the toxic may be different though and not require a driver re-install.

@COYS, yes the toxic has the switch but why buy the extremely overpriced toxic when for £18 extra, you can get a guaranteed 6970 with 2 games?

Which I still wouldn't buy:

I wouldn't be paying the extra over a 6950 as the 6950 is likely to hit the same oc'ed speeds as the 6970, the only difference being is a few less shaders.

It certainly isn't worth £72 extra imho(£140+ for 2), free games or not
