Hey guys, just got my ^^ and trying to overclock it for benching, but not having any luck at all,

i've tried clocking it with Trixx and Afterburner, but can't make any sizable jumps, nor can i up the volts, which i think is the primary problem.

my google-fu is failing, i haven't been able to find anything posted online suggesting what to do next....

also afterburner 2.2 beta refuses to work on my system......
installs just fine but on opening i get ' afterburner is missing something.... corrupted etc etc '

has anyone got any idea's?

I remember a previous version of MSI AB was not friendly to the card because the card was too new. Have you tried to enable unofficial overclocking of MSI AB by modifying the config file?

Not sure about 2.2 but for 2.1 it was like this:

Open start menu, type "notepad" and right-click on "notepad.exe", select "Run as administrator".

"File" menu -> "Open ..." -> Locate the installation path such like "C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner" -> open "MSIAfterburner.cfg".

Search for "[ATIADLHAL]"

Change the following 3 lines into:

Code:
UnofficialOverclockingEULA	= I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it
UnofficialOverclockingMode	= 1
AccessibilityCheckingPeriod	= 0

Save and exit notepad.
