6950 upgrade?

I'm currently running the setup in my sig and I'm looking to run bf3 on ultra with 4xmsga or whatever it is what would you recommend graphics card wise, Probably will have around a £500 budget will to change mobo and other things also.

On current setup only getting all high apart from low texture details and 16xAA

Possibly another 6950 for xfire. I5 2500k and a new motherboard? That'd be about £450

Are you wanting to sell your current card or keep that in the build

I5 2500K doesn't make too make difference in FPS in games compared to my oc'd 955

You say you have £500 to change the motherboard and other things. If you don't want to go Sandybridge/Bulldozer, what exactly are the "other things"?

I have £500 to spend at christmas, as my GPU is faulty I believe which i've linked above I was wondering what would you do with that £500 if it was you

500 quid graphics card or 100 mobo, 100 cpu, 300 gpu? Open to suggestions.

If you're happy with your processor and don't want the 2500k, get the best graphics card/card combination you can afford.

get rid of your 1 gb, 6950 and get 2x 2gb 6950s and an ssd

You should be ok with you 650w. It may be pushing it a bit though if oc'd

CF 6950 are better than a single 580 yes.

However it would give you the option to get another 580 at a later date if y ou feel the need to upgrade that

ditch the 1gb card and get 2 MSI ATI Radeon HD 6950 OC Twin FrozR III Power Edition 2048MB there on special this week £215.99 each bargain! They will blow a 580gtx 2bits!

But It's a 420 quid upgrade as my HIS 6950 isn't worth anything faulty atleast I think it's faulty watch these video's

If it was me I'd test the card in another machine, if you still get the same issue's then RMA the card again but this time link the video's so they can see the problem.
