6950XT @ 4K

Running at 1440p just now but have a chance of getting a Samsung G85 4K monitor at a decent price, is it worth going from 1440 to 4K on a 6950XT?

Not keen to upgrade the GPU at the moment. Been playing The Last of Us and Sniper Elite 5 at the moment.

I would say no, 4k is still a v v harsh resolution to run games at and the newer engined ones (mainly UE5) are showing this. The 6950XT is a good balance for 1440p high-refresh atm and for future titles imo and be good to stick with both.

To give as an example I've got an XTX and just dropped to Ultrawide from 4k and am appreciating the extra fps!!

Thanks. I just needed a reality check also lol will stick just now, for all the gaming I do it’s not worth the expense
