What do you think guys, a 6950 XT Toxic edition with a Seasonic prime tx-750w

I seen a review where the psu shut down at 902w but i would not want to go anywhere near the limit obviously.

the CPU is a stock 5600X and i would only run the GPU as is and i would not overclock it

Yes i already have the PSU, I also have a corsair PSU but thats 760w so no better.

I should have got an 850w one really

W1zzard over at TPU certainly measure the GPU only (input + PCIe I believe).
Also reasonable sure that Igor does the same as these two images imply:

whereas TPU actually say it in the caption:

Now, the question is to @dave28 is, do you intend to run this at max all out, or are you willing to play with undervolting and willing to dial things back a bit?
I suspect that even at -100W the card would probably lose around 5% or so.

I am considering dialing it back, i really dont want to buy another PSU if i can help it

How did you get on with this Dave?

Seems 100% fine but i am capping the FSP to 60 and that seems to reduce power draw from what i can tell.

I was playing spiderman on 1440p max settings with 60fps cap and I think my software was telling me the GPU was using 190w which is much lower than i expected.
