Every now and then, not always, I get "Incorrect Cable: Please use the dual-link DVI cable that came with the monitor". I have switched cables and the problem still comes back. Nothing fixes it and I have no idea what is causing it?

Any help guys would be appreciated...It is getting quite annoying now.

Never came across this with my 6970s maybe aa bad quality cable picking up interference is the monitor 120hz and is the cable long?
 
Yer I have and I tried an HDMI cable but still the same. Older drivers seemed to help but maybe that was just luck.... This is seriously starting to bug me now. I found that selecting DVI from the monitor gets it back but the image is very blurry and pretty unplayable in truth. I only want it for BF3 at the mo for me and my daughter to have a game in co-op and this is where it does it the most :(
