6970 Crossfire Knackered Artifacts everywhere what could it be

any help would be appreciated am i looking at an rma??

i dont know if you could see the artifacts in my print screen but they are green tiny dots following a curve pattern on the desktop and green lines randomly appearing...

right i shut down my computer swapped my DVi cable over then restarted my machine and all green dots and lines vanished was it the cable or the shut down of the machine i will never know lol...

[EDIT] i can see the green dots didnt appear on my print screen

Yeah i cant see anything from the screenshots above,Do you have your cards Overclocked?

i cant see squat either..... change dvi cable? change dvi input ? reinstall drivers?

all at stock speed of course

Can't see anything wrong with them screenshots, so must have been the cable. Also if you can't screen capture the artifacts, it means it's not the graphics cards Vram or GPU producing the artifacts (not 100% right because the video output stage of the card could be bad and cause some artifacts too.). So a good test is to screen capture and see what the capture shows, if it shows the same as when it was artifacting live then it's probably the Vram or GPU and if you have overclocked turn down the overclocks or add more volts to the gpu and Vram if you can to make them stable, but do it in a safe manner, don't go silly with volts and overclocking or it could kill it/them.
