6970 fit in a Lian Li v351?

Quick search on the Lian Li site states 280mm long and the 6970 is 274mm long so providing your power ports aren't on the end it should just fit.

got pics with a 5850 in but not with new card.but as the 6950 power sockets come out of the top it isnt a problem (well its a struggle to get them in :))

case has been modded to fit watercooling, dont know if that make much of a difference.

Nice build mate,

Very nice indeed.

Considering I am overclocking a core i5 and want to put in a 6870 do you think I should keep my current psu and try and fit it in? its a corsair hx1000.

I have been thinking about swapping it but i dont see the point for just a few less watts..

I had a 850W be quiet and it was a struggle to be honest, might be better off getting something smaller (in size)

And im now swapping cases so i can watercool my 6950 have had 2 of these cases and they struggle a bit with temps, i did have a I7 920 but even with water it was struggling (but that may be more due to the watercooling RAD blowing hot air over the other board etc).

oh and linky to build :)

I should think you could get a decent overclock on your I5 though,
