Just wondering if anyone has come across this problem before.
I have a 6970 eyefinity setup - 3 x 1920x1200 Samsung monitors. One connected via DVI, one using DVI>VGA adapter and one using miniDP>VGA. Odd setup as 2 of the monitors only have VGA connections. I have been running this for nearly a year using a variety of eyefinity and extended desktops.
Noticed yesterday that the text on one of my monitors looked distorted. The screen was also shifted to the left a bit so the windows start button was missing. After a bit of playing about all the windows and CCC settings looked fine. Went into the monitor settings and it was reporting 1600x1200 60Hz. Both windows and CCC say the monitor is set at 1920x1200.
I have done a bit of monitor swapping and the monitor works as normal when moved onto the miniDP. When I move the other VGA monitor onto the same port it also reports 1600x1200 and distorts everything. Tried a driver reinstall with no improvement.
Any ideas? Is the output on the 6970 up the left? RMA time?
