Hi guys,
My 6970 has recently started reading very high temperatures but I've got a suspicion that they aren't correct, it's reading 103 degrees after playing Skyrim!
The reason I don't believe it to be correct is because the heatpips on the cooler are warm but not nearly what I'd class as hot.
Is it possible to get false readings?
To avoid any confusion my case is a Fractal Design Define R2 case, it's fully kitted out with fans.
2x 120mm front intakes
1x 140mm side intake
1x 140mm bottom intake
1x 120mm rear exhaust
2x 140mm roof exhausts
The graphics card has a Zalman VF3000A fitted to it.
