Don`t quite believe that somehow.
A good mark in the benchmark is well known for being nothing like it is in the actual game.
I have seen gta at better settings on a pc far far more powerfull than yours and still on 45-60fps.
All this you say was on a dual core cpu with a 3870
Either you are the luckyest person or you have the luckyest pc........ or the other option.
Edit finally found the thread you mentioned and hate to tell you but a lot of the settings go to very high on gta4 and not just high and you even had some stuff on medium and all at a low res too.
This explains it running well on your system but isn`t excactly the high settings you mentioned you ran it at now is it.
