69xx when?

Going by the reviews of those new 68xx series, the 69xx cards look like their going to be full on awesome! Anyone know when they're set to be released?

And with rumours of a GTX580 and even a GTX475 doing the rounds, it looks like we could be set for a really good year on graphics card prices.

Word has it that it'll be late November, possibly early December for the 69xx. Rumour is the GTX 580 is apparently meant to out around February 2011.

But if the current 68xx release is anything to go by, the 69xx should be very impressive.

ATI won't price the cards anywhere near that far apart, it would be stupid to do that.

HD6870 + £50~ for the HD6950-1Gb = £240 - £260

£50~ on top again HD6970-1Gb = £280 - £310

The x2 card is a little more tricky to price. If its a pair 6870 cores then I would think sub £350 if its anything else then £350plus.

yeah i cant see them being that low priced tbh
if they are them im happy, but i think if its gonna kick 480's ass, its gonna be in that £££ range or even higher
the 6990 im saying £390+, 6970 im saying £330

will these cards be at the stage now were reviewers will have them like they did the 6870 and 6850 ? or is it a little too soon for that ?
so in theory we could start to see leeks as of next week / week after

@ gibbo, how many days before yesterday did you have a 6870 on site ?

The caymans should be with us mid to end of November in £350 - £450 price range.

Of course no one will tell you officially due to NDA.
