Good afternoon, I have recently inherited a 2010 Ford Focus Cc from my parents, thry are both still alive, however they have passed it down to me out of kindness, and because my RX8 is quite poorly at the moment.

I have been given the opportunity ahead to look for a replacement via the means of part exchange, and am looking for something more sensible than both of the above.

The RX8 is very expensive to run in tax, fuel et al.

The focus is a heavy car that is a 2 litre petrol, and am lucky to get 30mpg - the convertible aspect doesn't really interest me a great deal, so that would be my main reason for selling.

I am after a small to medium sized car, no older than 2010, comfort is a key feature as is it being modern to the extent of having ipod or phone connectivity. This is for roughly 10k miles a year.

Apologies for any bad spelling or grammar, written on my phone

Thanks

I agree with Paradigm on the petrol front.

The Exeo is a nice car but as mentioned not many about.

Did a quick look at that price range , Honda Civic? 1.8 petrol? The ford's wont be much different from what you have tbh.

I also seen a Seat Leon 1.4 TSI, probably not many about at this price point.

Perhaps a Mazda 3, it would have to be a 1.6 petrol if you want a bit of a mpg improvement. They are rather sluggish though.

The age criteria seems to rule out the bigger brands.

Are these cars too big?
