7-inch TFT power supply Q

hey guys, just bought a cheapo 7-inch tft off egay, but it has only come with 1 main cable that has L and R audio and composite video as well as 3 thin wires (red, black and green), 2 of which (the red and black) go to a little black box with a fuse and a few other bits and pieces in (i assume a small power supply)

I've emailed the seller about it but in the mean time.....any ideas what i can connect it up to like this??

Car battery i'd assume, or if you can find an old transformer which will do 12v with enough amps for the screen you could splice the wires.

thought it might have been 12v so just tried it on a molex and works fine
