This isn't for me but here's the breif:

Current car X5 3.0d Sport
2 Adults
2 Teenagers and a 7 year old

Possibility of an addition in the near future so time to look for a new car.

7 seats seems like the way to go....Audi Q7 4.2 S Line is top of the list. Any other recommendations?

This will be the family wagon, each adult has their own "other" car for single occupancy driving!

Go one step further, vasectomy + adoption of existing children = Lotus Exige :D.

Edit: From what I've seen of the XC-90, I'm a big fan. It's very competent in all areas and completely unpretentious and understated for an SUV.

How about a Discovery 3? Though the XC90 does look a generally nicer car I think, and probably better on fuel etc.

Didnt clarkson test all of them and then actually buy his Wife an XC-90?

That'd be good enough for me, they are all going to be alright at the end of the day.

Based upon the fact money doesn't seem to be a massive problem I'd say a fully loaded XC90 or as mentioned a Landy Disco. The Disco is deffo a handsome beast when you see one up close.

I know the Q7 is coming out but I think the Audi Allroad is getting a revamp and can be had as a 7 seater.
