7" tablet recommendations

kindle fire hd, nexus 7, or wait for nexus 7 2?

Also, does anybody recommend one of the other brands (e.g sumvision) in addition to amazon vs google?

Nexus 7, I've got one at the moment, more than happy with it. If the next Ipad Mini has a retina display though, I think that'll be the winner. Nexus for now though.
