but i havent got a cooler for my cpu so what should i downgrade for this ??

cheers beasty

Downgrade the GTX 480 because anything above a GTX 460 is pretty much wasted at 1920x1080.

Also, the Hyper 212 Plus can be had for £20.99 and the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro for about £20, so there's no real reason to downgrade anything.

i dont want to downgrade the 480 as i want 60+fps in games and want to be able to play the newer games with good fps

also will the hyper 212 be able to keep my cpu cool at about 4ghz ??

Easily.

Oh, and anything over 60 fps is wasted if you have a 60Hz monitor, and everything looks pretty much the same from 40 fps up.

Just sayin'.

Sigh.

No need for the GTX480. No need to spend such a silly amount on a keyboard and mouse when better alternatives can be had much cheaper.

The Sidewinder X4 is a MUCH better keyboard, and cheaper. Same can be said of the Cyborg V5.

Mouse wise the G500 is widely commended as one of the best, if not the best gaming mouse, again MUCH cheaper.

Money saved could go toward that new monitor (24" will still be 1920x1080 btw, a 27" may well be the same depending on how much up spend on it).

Can be done much cheaper should want it. But here it is nonetheless:

i choose the razer keyboard due to the slim design and the mouse due to tryed both on a friends rig and also bored them for a week while he was on holiday and i loved them and got on really well with them both

will the 650w be enough juice for a 480 ?? as they are hungry for juice ??

also is there any reason for the change in case ??

any good ?? also i want to build a pc that i dont have to change anything in the next year or maybe abit longer

an this is what i got which just topped my budget

That looks good mate. I'd go for that. The 480 will play games at +60 on high settings at 1920x1080. I would not go for a 27" monitor for gaming, otherwise you'll have to sacrifice visuals to get an acceptable frame rate.
Assuming the 27" goes to 2560

Depends, if your monitor is going to be a few feet away from you then perhaps a 27" at 1920x1080 but otherwise its going to be up in your face.

Tbh, i have a nice samsung 24" in front of me 2 feet and thats all I need. Can't share my experience with a 27". Sorry.

i have a 22" in front of my now and its ok i suppose a 24" should be fine but im also getting a new desk so ill have to wait for that then have a measure up

what id get.

i didnt put peripherals as i dont think on a budget its worth including them as a price, internal components are more important, id rather have a system and use a cheap keyboard/mouse than compromise the system spec.

I have the slight older version of the Hans G, gaming at 1920x1200 on it is fairly similar to 1920x1080 on a 24" screen, looks wise. But the big screen is awesome. if you want that screen, therefore gaming at 1920x1200, then keep the 480.

i already have the motherboard and is a 1156 socket so the i5 760 is the cpu im going to use

i also a nvidia card (yes i suppose i am a fan boy of nvidia but i admit it)

also im not going to be overclocking the card but will be overclocking the cpu to around the 4ghz mark

i also play demanding games such as metro crysis bfbc2 stc..

There was no reason I changed the case, just I prefer it's look and it has better features.

There is no difference (Except price) between the GTX480 I picked and the one you did. The overclocking can be done yourself (yes you said you wouldn't - don't see why but each to their own) or just save the money.

My build has 1TB HDD yours has 500GB - and it's a slower drive :p

Trust me, 650W is overkill for a GTX480 - 850W is stupidly large! A GTX480 and overclocked i7 doesn't even draw 500W on load according to various sites and people so not need ;)
