£700 Gaming Computer

The Samsung you have listed is a good call but damn £175 on a monitor?

Edit: I've also took your suggestion and changed the RAM to the OCZ

its totally worth it, you said everthing was £850, i have done a basket for under that.

you have gotten confused by the LED/LCD naming from some manufacturers, they are all LCD, its the backlighting that is led.

whats with the dam 21.5" screen fettish:D

how much is the surge protector? only ask because the quality psu will safely shut down and recover from any spikes.

It's just slightly cheaper and easier on the cost aha :p;)

But my basket is what your budget said.

extra sata cables not needed, they come with the motherboard.

fans, not needed.

surge protector, no opinion on this, a good Belkin is around £20.

How many? As at the moment I've got 2 HDD's in use 1 for storage and 1 for main and when I build the new computer I would like to use the previous HDD as storage but would need to keep both plugged in to clear windows of the one and then copy the files across,

There's a few extra spaces for fans that I would like to fill in the case :)

comes with two.

Are 60 pence cables going to make you get a 21.5" monitor over a 24"?
That Sammy especially at that price is a great Monitor.
Would be a shame to save a little bit of $$$ on a high performance rig only to view it on a 21.5" :(

Never thought about that, I've got the 24" monitor in the basket now :)
