£700 Gaming PC spec

Hey, a friend of mine has £700 and is looking to build a PC that can play games such as, TDU, CSS, BF2, CoD4 etc, all with high fps on high settings.

As i'm not so up to date with motherboards and recently released items, i was wondering if maybe you guys can spec him up something?

He needs:

• A CPU [Was thinking a Q6600?]
• A Mobo
• Around a 250GB HDD [Seagate Barracuda?]
• A Graphics card [Wasn't sure whether to wait for 9800 or try the new 8800GTS]
• Sound Card
• He won't be looking to OC so the stock cooler could make do
• 2GB of DDR2 Ram
• CD/DVD rom drive
• PSU
• Case

This might do, I've gone with 4gb Ram since it is so cheap at the moment and there is overclocking potential here if your friend changes their mind.

I wouldn't bother waiting, the more info that appears the more the 9800 is starting to sound like a bit of a wet blanket

Not sure about the sound card as usually I end up skimping out on that so if you feel it's too much, get a cheaper one and get the 8800 GTS 512 instead.
