£700 on a games machine

I'd be very grateful for some suggestions if people have the time. I'm looking for everything apart from speakers and keyboard and mouse. 19" LCD (4:3 or widescreen) is also wanted.

Do you think i can get a top spec for this budget?

If you shop around you may be able to fit an E4400 into your budget, which is worthwhile due to the extra cache IMO. If you are not overclocking they I wouldn't bother with an aftermarket cooler.
