looking for a gaming pc that will handle most new game at medium to high setting at a reasonable framrate.

i need a monitor on top of this but think it would be cheaper to get from MM.

if anyone has anything that could be suitable from MM give me a trust message and ill set up a thread.

any tips on this build would be good


p.s. i have seen 965BE's go for around 70-80 quid on there i dunno if thins would be taken into account sort of thing


just looking for some idea's / feedback


or should i wait for a bit as new hardware comes out soon?

Looks good, you can still get a decent new monitor within your price range, eg this one
Dont forget an optical drive, unless you got one lying spare

okay thanks =] .... would there be anyway to pull the bluray player from my laptop and put it in the pc?

yeah, youd just need to get a normal 5.25" bay to slimline converter

does it matter that the motherboard says it's micro ATX?


i don't really understand what this means except its smaller lol

No it doesn't matter it's mATX, just means it's but smaller, it's still compatible
SB isn't really an option with a budget of 700 incl monitor

SB only option if it was £700 excluding monitor.....

i should be able to pick up some bits on MM like PSU, CPU and cooler should save me a few quid

Definitely look into the MM, seen some absolutely cracking deals on monitors on there. I've been picking up bits here and there for my current build from the MM and so far it's worked out well

yea i'm thinking fo waiting till bulldozer as hoping everyone with a 955 or 965 will be trading in so could get some good deals especially if bulldozer is AM3+ then might get a good AM3 board

yea i havent seen many monitors really looking for one for about 80 quid ish at like 20" hopefully anyway
