Hi, is there a diiference between a 700c rear wheel for a road and hybrid bike. I'm after a 700c wheel to use with a turbo trainer and road bike. Thanks.

Potentially there could be an axle spacing difference, but this is not something I know much about, so opinions from others is very welcome.
Does your hybrid have disc bakes? If so, I think this will mean you need a 135mm rear wheel.

Depends on the hybrid. Some have 700c wheels, some don't. Although technically I suppose you could put a smaller wheel in and use the trainer, as long as the axle size is correct and it fits a trainer tyre. The angles might get a bit weird though.
Honestly, you could probably get away with a super cheap 700c wheel if you're having trouble finding a used stock wheel nearby. You don't brake on them, you're not going over any bumps that would make them go out of true and even if they do it's not really a big deal. Planetx do an Omega rear turbo wheel for £50. You can get some even cheaper but they generally take screw cassettes.

This one is advertised as a 700c hybrid wheel under road bike wheels. Would it be suitable for a 8-speed Claris road bike?

Most likely, yeah. You'd just need a trainer tyre, inner tube, maybe rim tape and a casette. All of which you can pretty much just get the cheapest versions of.
