700d case fans

I have a corsair 700d, the 3 case fans have small 3 pin plugs, can I safely plug these into my mobo fan headers, msi x58 big bang x-power.

my psu has no connections for the fans.

Yes, that's what the headers on the mobo are for

I hear some fans can damage mobo's from too much power draw.
