Hi all

Having some random crashes on my system and was thinking it could be caused by the psu? Everything else seems to be working fine.

A 700w PSU from a good brand such as FSP ought to be more than enough but it is always possible that you have a faulty one. Corsair do a couple of good PSUs in the HX 520w and 620w and either should cope fine with that system.

If youre getting random crashes then id be looking at testing the RAM - all together and then seperatly to see if you have a duff module

Only other thing that has me thinking it may be the PSU is im also getting messages saying the USB devices do not have enough bandwidth. As for price, I would rather spend a bit of cash and get the right thing tbh.

Seems as though I have some faulty ram

Just tested with memtest and got about 7 errors so far.

Pain in the ass now as im going to have to test each 1.

Im running memtest in windows, is that ok? Dont have a floppy drive anymore
