And my last PSU, 800w random brand, blew on me after installing a case fan. I have 2 case fans coming tomorrow and was wondering if I will be safe this time round?
Thanks - Beef

You're not allowed to link to competitors so please edit your post.

No promotion of OcUK's competitors

We, Overclockers UK (OcUK) are happy to provide the resources of these forums to responsible individuals without charge. They cost a substantial amount of money to maintain and use considerable amounts of bandwidth which is paid for exclusively by us. As you know OcUK are in the computer hardware business and therefore the promotion of OcUK's competitors is forbidden. Examples of promotion are :-
  • Posting links to competitors websites
  • Posting links to reviews that promote competitors
  • Quoting the names or contact details of competitors
  • Offering to provide the names or contact details of competitors
  • Hinting about product availability at competitors and their pricing
  • Using the forums to notify a member of intent or actual supply of names or contact details of competitors
  • Listing competitors names, URL's or e-mail addresses in signatures
  • Listing competitors names, URL's or e-mail addresses in profile
  • Posting links to or the mentioning of auction sites
  • Disguising attempts to do any of the above

If PSU your is working fine now then a couple of extra cooling fans are unlikely to push it over the edge.

Going by his rule breaking siggy it's a Ambiance 80+ 700w PSU. Don't know if that's a make or a model but i have never heard of it.

Why do people buy stuff and then ask for opinions? They should ask for opinions first.

Cheers, did not look at the sig fully :p

Seems to be made by EzCool!

700w for £32, No thanks.

Sorry guys, I'm new here so I am not too sure on the rules. If someone could link me I'd appreciate it.
I know it's not a well-known brand but itbis doing the job for me just fine. Unfortunately I don't really have the funds to be upgrading my psu at this point. Maybe it's something I could look into doing after Christmas.
Also, I'm not asking for an opinion on whether I should buy said psu, only whether it was able to have 2 extra fans without blowing, which linwelin seems to have answered for me.

No probs, as mentioned adding the fans will not affect the PSU.

External links are ok for manufacturers websites, but if you link to a shop that sells what OcUK does then don't post the link, or just link from the OcUk shop.

I think the saying goes.............

buy cheap, buy twice

700W PSU for under 40 quid = disaster waiting to unfold.................................
