720P Nvidia 3D gaming!

I have a 720P nvidia compatible acer 3D projector.
I plan to get a Nvidia 460 1GB GPU and 3d vision glasses.
Problem is I only have a C2D E4300 (although running at 2.7GHz).

Can I get away with that for now playing something like BFBC2 and Crysis 2.

Don't mind dropping the detail a bit, and it is a low resolution. I just want minimum 30fps.

Or shall i wait untill i do a major upgrade?

A 460 would be adequate that sort of resolution and I think 3D drops performance by half so if you look at benchmarks of a 460 running at 720p expect half the performance when running 3D.

in both you'll be CPU bound and you'd need to upgrade the CPU to run them well
