720p setting 50Hz

The same way you would set it to 60Hz by using the normal Scart connection then switching back to HiDef.

On the 360?

If your using the component cable, try flicking the switch on it to normal mode, then go into the display options and set it to PAL50 or whatever its called. No need to use a different lead.

Turn 360 off then switch back to HD.

Why would you need to do this by the way?

Erm what exactly does PAL do when playing on HD? I think you will find that PAL 50/60 are redundant when you switch to HD.

Some games (on the 360 at least) have funny issues if the console itself it not set to 50/60Hz, even when playing in HD.

Shouldnt affect it I agree, but it does in some way.

Well I'm using the 360 as an media extender and because the signal its trying to show is 50Hz I'm getting ghosting.
