7300gt is being sold by a uk supplier for £58 inc vat and delivery for the inno3d 7300gt 256mb gddr3 version.

very very good card for the price. it can;t be beat.

if you mean the inno3d one thats DDR2 although they dont say it (going by the code given)

Going by leadteks website, no. They seem to list the DDR speeds for their cards (7900gt is 1530 for an example)

It does seem a bit odd that card manufacturers are fitting 7300GT cards with memory running at more than double the default speed. If there is such a thing - as far as I can see, nvidia don't give a default speed for 7300GT, neither GPU nor memory.

Memory speeds from 350MHz ("700") to 800MHz ("1600") on the same model of card...does that strike anyone else as strange?

The low end budget cards are often like that.

Basically nVidia give them a bunch of GPU's and let them do what they like with them as long as they stick to the 7X00 naming mechanism.

You saw the same thing with the 9800SE's of the past where some had 64bit mem, some had 128bit, some had 256bit. Others had 4pipes, some had 8pipes etc. The mem was different speeds, the cores were different speeds...

All down to how the manufacturer implements it. They arn't as strict as the top end cards.

7300gt is very good card for the cash. 2 in sli are fast as a 7900gt but cost a lot less.
