I have just bought a 7300LE graphics card for my Media PC thinking that it was passively cooled but it isnt. I have a spare Zalman Northbridge cooler and was wondering if its ok to replace the horrible little fan. I have a nice 92mm Fan at the front of the case blowing air across the Northbridge then the gfx card...
 
I had a 7300GS, and I put a passive sink on it, one from an old GF4mx which was quite chunky. I got really hot, like 90-100. So a chipset heatsink I dont think would do the trick.
