Currently got a 1080p projector in my gaming room, I'm thinking of replacing it with a 4k HDR TV. The TV would need to be 75" or bigger as to not lose too much size.

I've been looking mainly at Samsung TV's.

I know the S7500 series is highly regarded but what about the S8000 and S9000 range? Are these better?

I've been looking at this TV in particular -

Other option would be an upgrade to a 4K projector however I don't know anything about these. Current projector is an Epson TW5200 -

Thoughts?

Current set up is a 1080p Epson projector, projected straight on to the wall at just under 100"
Sound system is in progress I've got a 5.1 system to connect up.
There's a sofa and 3 bean bags in the room then, it's mainly for gaming - PS4, psvr, wii u (Mario games look incredible!) but also to watch blu rays and Netflix.

Not a great pic but all I've got at the moment, all the bits to the right have now been cleared!

Might be worth investing in a projector screen and possibly upgrade to a 4K projector opposed to a large TV? The price does shoot up after 65" :(

Thanks for all the replies, I'll stick with the current projector at the moment. Get the room set up properly and a screen and go from there :)

77" OLED at £19k is way over budget! £4k on the one in my OP would be the limit however I think I would benefit more from getting the most out of what I've got as mentioned, then get a screen, then look at the projector etc.

Most of my current media is 1080p as mentioned, Netflix, PS4 etc. Guess I'll hold out for a while longer before going 4k!
