hi guys been popping in and out of forum reading posts etc as i am wanting to try and get a new rig for playing games gta etc as my old rig has seen better days lol not that i got to play any good games on that amd athon 64 cpu 1 gig ram 64mb graphic card and a monitor with a vga port mobo msi 6741 i think it is as u can see a upgrade is required but the pennys have been tight till now so maybe i can get a new set up i have 750 800 max pounds for the lot thats my budget ty for any ideas intel i5 pref cpu if that could be in the set up over a amd cpu again ty.

sorry i have 2 sata hdd 200 gigs each usb keyboard mouse so id be reusing these items.

How does this look to start? I presume you need a new OS, though you dont say if you need a monitor or not

think i may need monitor as will the gpu card be compatible with my old vga monitor as i think the gpu card is dvi could be wrong thou if its possible to use my old sata hard disks then i may be able to get monitor and yes i need the os win 7 set up looks good

The i5 2500K features a IGP so you get Lucid+Quicksync and a onboard GFX solution to fall back on if you have a GFX card issue, the i5 2550K doesnt.
