£750 gaming system

Looking to build a system with my friend for the latest in gaming at 1680 x 1050 - no monitor required.

One quick point, it must be Intel and future proof - (ability to handle DDR3 and new processors).

He also likes the look of the Antec Sonata III (is 500w supplied PSU good enough though?) or the Antec P182.

Vista Home Premium 64 bit preferred.

i thought if a new penryn CPU was wanted when they were released, a quad now would be pointless.
you will have to OC the CPU to get the best out of it.
you may be able to drop the graphics down to a 8800GT, but im not entirely sure with new games it would be a wise idea.
you could save some money by getting 2 2x1GB kits if you want 4GB of ram, or just get a single 2x1GB kit if 2GB is enough
