Hey guys.

Looking to build my first PC in 10+ years with a £750 budget (excluding case).

I'd like it to be a mini-itx build as I want a compact case to squeeze it all into.

I'd also like it to be as silent as possible. Is watercooling possible with this budget?

Am looking to run games at 1080p/1440p at decent FPS (whatever that means)

I dont game very much at the moment but looking to play COD Warzone, SC2, WoW, DOTA, LOL but also want the capability to try AAA titles.

Is now a good time to buy or should I wait until next release of GPU's so that the current ones (1660GTX for example) drop in price.

First time poster, any help would be appreciated.

Slightly over budget (£770 ish without case) but should be solid for 1080p, 1440p would be very difficult at £750 for a mini itx build.

If you can wait for next gen GPUs probably worth it but I don't think the low-mid end GPUs are released until after the high end so could be a fair few months still.

Do note that this case supports full size ATX PSUs so if you want a smaller one you'll need to change the PSU too.

Edit: should be able to squeeze this in the case instead, that particular noctua doesn't seem to be all that great https://www.overclockers.co.uk/scythe-scmg-5100-mugen-5-rev.b-cpu-cooler-hs-046-sy.html

If you was willing to go micro-ATX, you can get it more comfortably in budget.

ITX can be lot more restrictive in airflow, so silence is a hard request combined with ITX.

Could've got it £20 cheaper with a non-modular PSU, but with smaller mATX/ITX builds I'd really recommend sticking with a fully modular PSU to reduce cables. :)
