Hello,

I'm going to be getting a 750D this week with a new cooler. I was going to get a H110 then I saw this.

YOUR BASKET
1 x OcUK Tech Labs - Corsair Obsidian 750D Windowed - 750 EX360 Watercooled Case £270
1 x Intel Bracket Fitted £0
1 x Mayhems Ultra Pure H20 Watercooling Fluid 1L £4.99
Total : £287.59 (includes shipping : £10.50).

First question is this just complete overkill for just a CPU as I have no intention of water blocking my GPU?

Second would I be able to fit a optical drive with the pump/reservoir there? If not that is a deal breaker.

Thirdly the H110, should I buy after market fans for it and if so what ones? (I do have a couple of these spare).

YOUR BASKET
1 x Akasa AK-FN062 Apache Black Super Silent 140mm Fan - 4 Pin PWM £14.99
Total : £18.90 (includes shipping : £3.26).

Fourthly Same question for the stock 750D case fans.

Goals. I really want it as quiet and cool as possible. I know I will have to sacrifice one of the other. A good balance will hopefully be the result.

Budget: none.

Any other input welcome

If you plan on overclocking to take advantage of your new found temperatures, then a custom loop like that will perform better than an AIO. Though i think the case choice is overkill if you want expand your loop, for that price it is a bargain.

You can fit an optical drive in the case for sure.

Those fans you linked will work on radiators well enough.

Pardon my stupidity but if you look at the pic the rad is blocking the top 5.25 slot and pump/res combo will be in the bottom 2 slots.
Therefore no slot free for optical............?
