When starting up my PC, my MSI 750ti beeps or clicks about 7 times. The fan spins but nothing posts to my monitor. It randomly stopped working one day. I've had the power off for about 2 days and nothing has changed. I presume its died but can I do anything else?

Tried unplugging all but the primary video cable from the back of the card? If this doesn't work then remove all cables, boot, wait about a minute and then plug in the primary cable again.

Mine does it every couple of weeks for no reason at all :(

You're not using a normal HDD by any chance?
If you've got a motherboard with debug numbers, just take note on the number it shows before turning off. If not, most motherboards have lights scattered around the board that light up/turn off depending on boot. Normally if it's the GPU stopping it from booting the VGA light would be turned on.

Test it in another machine?

Failing that. Does your Motherboad have Component test LED's?

If the PCIe LED stays on or flashes, or whatever it does to indicate a problem then it could be the GPU, or the PCIe socket.

If, for example the CPU LED gives a warning, well, then its probably not the GPU. :)

have you tried running off the onboard graphics at all if your board has it?

this could eliminate a power supply or motherboard failure...
