750W enough for this...?

Looking at the EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W for the following;

- Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H-BK
- i7 4790k
- Coolermaster Nepton 240M AIO
- 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C10 2400MHz
- OCUK GTX 970 Reference (single for now, but SLI in future)
- x2 SSD's
- x1-2 mechanical HD's

I will likely overclock the CPU and GPU. Is the 750W enough?

yes. even with sli 970s.

OK thanks, good to know. I saw some people elsewhere saying it was bare minimum, but I know the 900 series are much less power hungry so I figured 750W would be enough... I just wasn't sure what with overlocking.

750w will be fine with overclocking too

without starting a new thread more or less the same question but for:

gigabyte z97 s-oc force
4790k overclocked
gtx770 evga sc acx sli overclocked or stock depending on system power draw
8gb ram

would a cx750m be enough? i know the gtx770 is 230w tdp and 4790k is 88w so am i right in thinking the system would draw 548w plus say 100w for other ancilleries so 648w and so a 750w psu would be fine?

You have plenty of room, my max psu output by corsair link with an overclocked 4790k and two 980s in SLI at 1400/2000 is ~500W

thats one less thing i need to worry about. should keep my upgrade under 4 figures i hope.
