7600gs, what performance?

Was wondering as I'm upgrading from a AGP GeForce 6800XT and got the new PCI-E GeForce 7600gs arriving tommorrow. Just wondering what type of performance difference I'd notice in games like BF2142 an GRAW. Hopefully quite dramatic as I am using a 19" widescreen but I still like to play my games without choppiness.

Well what can I expect?

My 7600GS (AGP and old P4 system) struggles with newer games, its playable but not smooth.

Pre 2005/06 games should run like a dream though

I bought a AGP 7900GS to use with my old P4 and it struggles with new games (although I do play on 1680x1050) have to have settings on medium mostly and on Lost Planet I only get about 19-25fps but its enough for me to be able to play (never ever had a PC that could play latest games at 60+ FPS). Gonna try overclocking it tomorrow though

At a guess I'd say it's roughly equivalent to 6800 performance. So, slightly faster than a 6800XT but not by much.
