7600gt better than 6800gs? due to bit difference

My m8 went from a 6800gs to a 7600gt he said there was little difference if any but his 6800gs was a xfx exteme xxx factory oc to 485/1100 don t no if that helps but if you get 7600gt don t expect a big bost.
