7600GT ok for 1280x1024?

Will a 7600GT be sufficient to play the most popular games at 1280x1024 at high details with some AA/AF on?

Looking at games like Doom3/Quake4, SM Railroads etc.

The 7900GS is only £20 more expensive which is probably better but id rather save the £20 if possible.

just looked at some benchmarks and the 7900gs seems to give about 30-40% performance increase over the 7600gt. worth the extra if you ask me

cheapest 7600gt in here is £99.86 can get a 7900gs for £112.79

worth the extra £13.

or are you talking agp ?
