7600GT Problems in Fear (Shadow Artifacts)

Hi, iv been getting problems when playing fear, as you know the game implements shadows and its a problem thats only just started.

When i first started playing the game the shadows were fine, but now they seem to be broken up and there are lots of artifacts when you move about in shadows, im not sure whats causing it.

Iv been playing the game with the graphics card set to high which has been fine until now.

looking at the screenshots there it dont look too bad, but when your in the game it can be abit disorientating.

Also forgot to mention aswel is that sometimes the shadows cause ghosting in the game, i spotted this as a guard appeared ghosted.

Have you tried a different graphic driver?.

im using Nvidia drivers : 7.15.11.65

Havnt tried any other drivers im using Vista Home premuim x64

Sorry. I'm only using XP at the moment so I don't know much about Vista. Is there other working Vista drivers you can try?. Or try re-install the ones you are using.

I used to play COD but not online,lol, soz, must have been someone else

Sorry for the delay, installed new drivers, same problem.

Its defenatly a problem with the shadows as when i turn the shadows off its fine.

I have 7600 GT in SLI and have had the exact same issue in the same part of the game.

The issue dissapears one you are past that part of the game so I didn't bother investigating further.

Just turn shadows off for a while until you progress a bit more.
