Wouldn't bother upgrading that way, just get a 1950 pro, or save up some mroe and go 8800GTS, just imo.

For a new build then PCI-E is the only option mainly beacuse of the choice of cards. An AGP 7600gt is much faster than a PCE-I 6800gs and i have first hand exprience of this exact comparison.
