Simple question. Does this work?
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
If same card, for ex; a GTX460, one is 768mb and one is 1Gb, then you can SLI them but they will only be able to utilise 768mb each.
Surveyor is correct. There are more differences between the cards than the amount of vRAM including a different memory bus.
It won't work![]()
Taken from this Linky.Simple answer, no.

Lol at the awesome amount of detail in the op.
It's all that's needed, and the first reply covered everything as well.

Well iono, used to SLI a 9800GT with an 8800GT, one of which was 512 and one was 1gb
Perhaps things have changed since then
