Waddaya think? :D

God bless the pencil volt mod..

Who thinks i should try for 800mhz?

Nice clocks, wish i'd go for a 7600gt instead of my 6800gs when i had the choise, was only 20€ more, and my 6800gs wont clock more as 25 mhz or it crashes, while its under 50C under full load thanks to a zalman... :(

Tried posting the link, and it appears i'm using 3d mark 05 1.20 instead of 1.30.. So that's downloading now and the mem pushes even further, infact, i can't push it any further as it has hit the end of the slide bar :(

Gimme a few min's and i'll hopefully have some more pics up

Nice! You water cooling?

nope, vf700 al-cu  gonna whack a vf900 on it in a min to see if i can get temps down from 45c idle/65c load

EDIT: http://service.futuremark.com/orb/resultanalyzer.jsp?projectType=12&XLID=0&UID=9108077

Think thats the link that was asked for... looks like i'm 2nd :D 1st place has to be sli looking at the clock speeds...

previous owned said he had it to 690/1880 24/7 stable, main reson for wanting this card was because of the fantastic memory clock he had :)

The other card i have doesn't clock as high, but i'm going to volt mod that one too, see if i can get them both running over 700mhz core in sli :) (they do 650 stable together at the moment, benchable on 675)

Are there any other decent programs out there that will allow you to overclock gfx cards, because i know i can get the core higher on this card, but coolbits always fails the initial test... i'm even considering borrowing a slodering iron and soldering a couple of 10k ohm resistors onto this thing... :D

Haha, going quite hardcore there then Viper.

Used to love overclocking my GFX cards, mainly my 5800 and 9800SE. Have the 1950Pro and no luck at all.

Just waiting for the fully fledged and bedded in DX10 cards for my next upgrade methinks.

that's awesome!
Try a fan blowing directly on the back of the card over the GPU, you might get 20mhz more

heat isn't an issue with 7600GTs, they don't generate much at all even when heavily overclocked, there still WELL under 8800 temperatures

yeah, 53c fully loaded ;) max stable is 760/2000, 770 core gives errors after about 5 mins on ATi tool, 780 core givew errors after a few seconds..

760/2000 was error free after 45 mins, i class that as stable :D

For some reason the resistance isn't dropping a huge ammount when i pencil the resistors on my other card :( I'll keep at it untill i get the desired ohmage

what drivers are you using to bench?
my 7600GT is at 800Mhz on the core but only 1625 on memory :(
doubt i would be able to beat your score anyway, ive only got an athlon 64 X2 @ 2.6Ghz

a pic of it on ati tool, i know 15 mins isnt long enough to test it but anyway :

holy poo! jsut been checking the orb and ppl have 950mhz on the core...

I'm on 93.71's no mods on the drivers... still highest single card i can find is ~9050.. should beat that with a bit of a clock :D

Is your card modded in any way? i still haven't managed to volt mod the other card, resistance just isn't dropping :( And i ain't got the guts for some soldering...

yet... :D

awesome ill try those drivers now
icon14.gif

yeah the card is pencil modded to quite a high 1.73v so i could probably get more out of the core, ill work on the memory tomorrow and if the card goes bang ill just buy an 8800GTS :D
using a zalman VF900 + 12CM fan over it for cooling

best of luck!
what does this card get in 3dMark06?! Was wandering how two modded 7600Gt's in SLI would add up...

soooo, ive buggered one of the cards lmao
the pc just shut itself down whilst in 3d mark, i think one or more of the capacitors have still got charge in them so maybe draining them will fix it?
using my XFX 7600GT now, currently at 750Mhz core with stock volts (bearing in mind that this card is also damaged) :p
