770 4gb classified & 2nd card just for physx

Hi all

Can anyone confirm that I can buy a 2nd nvidia card and run it as dedicated physx card forwwhen playing planetside 2 if so what card should I get and does it need to be a 7 series card

Theirs no need anymore to have physx card. Your 770 4gb is plenty mate.
 
If you are thinking about a two card setup just get two GTX 770s and run them in sli with the NCP set to auto select for PhysX.

Hi was just wondering as on planetside 2 game thread someone had said they where running a separate card for physx and was not getting any game crashes

If you are running 2 GTX 770s in sli you can go down that route by disabling sli and dedicating one of your cards to PhysX when playing planetside 2.

Have you tried using a single GTX 770 as the guys above have suggested.

hi yes Ive been using my single evga 770 4gb classified for a while now with constant game crashes so might consider getting a 2nd older card to try to see if that helps, Im needing another card anyway as my sons PC needs a better card for steam as the 1900xt is getting on

I've run planetside on 770 lightning and didn't have any issue's. Maybe your having a driver issue? What driver you on?
 
Hi all I've installed the drivers and definitely an improvement with only 2 crashes all day
I've also read that the nvidia geforce experience can play havoc with some games and windows 8 so will be removing that
I also forgot that I had the GFE optimising planetside 2
